Improving upon Shimano's successful saltwater rod line, the Tallus PX Casting Rods use advanced blank technologies for exceptional performance. Designed for versatility, the Tallus PX eliminates the heavy feel of multipurpose boat rods. Built with Hi-Power X reinforcing technology, the rod is strong and responsive while remaining light and comfortable to fish. The Hi-Power X blank features a carbon tape outer layer that winds diagonally in opposite directions, enhancing torsional rigidity to reduce twist and ovalization. This technology improves energy transfer for longer casting distances and better lifting power when fighting fish. The Tallus PX includes SeaGuide Zirconia Guides, an EVA foregrip, and a diamond wrap shrink tube reargrip. Ideal for live bait fishing, chunking, bottom fishing with heavy weights, or trolling on any vessel and coast.
